We worked with Natural England to evaluate the Nature Restoration Network Seedcorn funding programme and the 389 projects delivered between 2020-2023. Desk research and interviews with Senior Advisors and Project Leads demonstrated the significant impact achieved by the projects and informed recommendations for future improvements to the programme delivery.
We enjoyed capturing lessons learned and impact data on the range of projects made possible through this funding programme, which included the development of community orchards, restoration of peatland habitats, research into marine habitats, engagement of landowners in nature restoration and the improvement of ponds for turtle doves.
